Common Issues

Camera or microphone not working

talktrack needs camera, microphone, and Photos access to function. If you denied a permission at first launch:

• Open Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera (or Microphone / Photos)
• Find talktrack and toggle access on
• Return to the app — it will detect the change automatically

Voice commands aren't responding

• Make sure voice commands are enabled in Settings → Playback
• Check that Speech Recognition permission is granted: Settings → Privacy & Security → Speech Recognition
• All commands must start with "talktrack" (e.g. "talktrack start", "talktrack record")

Speech-tracked scrolling isn't available

Speech-tracked mode requires iOS 26 or later. On earlier versions, you'll have timed and voice-activated scrolling modes. Check your iOS version in Settings → General → About.

Multi-cam isn't available

Dual-lens recording requires hardware that supports AVCaptureMultiCamSession. This is generally available on iPhone models with multiple rear cameras (iPhone XS and later with dual/triple cameras). If your device doesn't support it, the multi-cam toggle won't appear.

Restoring a purchase

If you've purchased Pro on another device or after reinstalling:

• Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID used for the original purchase
• Open the app and look for Restore Purchases
• Your Pro unlock will be restored through the App Store
